As I review history anew, I am truly struck with what a revolution the American Revolution really was. Powerful men sought to gain the release of our country from the tyranny of Great Britain.

- The foreclosure racket is structured to only help the banks. Say you have 1k a month mortgage, just the loan payment, nothing else. Early part of the mortgage, 90% of that is profit to the bank. If you walk , however, they get your equity in turn for you getting out from under the principal.

- Nanny, Nanny give me more candy. Once the Nanny state is accepted as a way of life, there is no end to the demands for more candy. Some parts of Europe have had 100 years of socialistic leanings eventually leading to the situation they have now.

- Job exportation is a myth. Through the Clinton and 2nd Bush years, unemployment averaged just a little above 5%. This is almost full employment, so where are the jobs being exported from? Many steel mills and auto factories have closed.
